Aldi Australia has announced it will remove its controversial “Australia EST. 1788″ T-Shirt from sale following social media pressure and claims that the slogan was “racist”.

An Aldi Australia spokesperson said the decision was made “following comments by a limited number of concerned customers”.

The T-shirts and singlets were scheduled to go on sale this Saturday, 11 January. Others in the $5 range will still be sold.

The move follows earlier media reports about growing protests on Twitter.

How ironic that on the ALDI's Twitter page they feature two people with their mouths blocked. Looks like banning the freedom of expression - "Australia est 1788" on a t-shirt is something that goes along with ALDI's ethos.

UK school threatens to label primary school children “racist” if they don’t attend an Islamic workshop

More stupid Muslim appeasement from the progressive left.

Parents were ordered to send their children to a workshop on Islam or have them labelled as racist for the rest of their school career.

They were sent a letter warning that the primary school pupils would have a ‘racial discrimination note’ put on their records if they did not go.

Families were told to pay £5 per child for the Explore Islam trip next Wednesday to Staffordshire University, which would involve Year 4 and Year 6 children being shown Islamic artefacts.

Here's the letter from the school. Note the letter doesn't dare state the workshop will cover Islam.

In the end, the dumbass school backed the foxtrot down.

I’ll say it again, Islam runs counter to every single progressive left ideology, but because the right doesn’t like Islam, progressives continue to make excuses for it. The facts are, should Islam ever become the majority, it will be the progressives that will be targeted first by the Islamists.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwich is Racist, says Portland School Official

Did you know that eating or even talking about a peanut butter and jelly sandwich could be considered racist?

That’s right.

Apparently, it’s because people in some cultures don’t eat sandwich bread. Verenice Gutierrez, principal of Harvey Scott K-8 School in Portland explained in an interview with the Portland Tribune:

“Take the peanut butter sandwich, a seemingly innocent example a teacher used in a lesson last school year,” the Tribune said.

“What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches?” Gutierrez asked. “Another way would be to say: ‘Americans eat peanut butter and jelly, do you have anything like that?’ Let them tell you. Maybe they eat torta. Or pita.”

I wish someone would give Verenice Gutierrez a shit sandwich…oh that’s right, she wouldn’t like the bread…

Nevertheless, a complaint was made. The remark was capable of offence. And he had to apologise – to the universe at large – saying he hadn’t intended any hurt.

Part 1 - Agenda 21 again

Awareness of the environment and concern for its delicate balance are indeed sensible endeavours. Concern, however, arose during a 1992 United Nation's conference to discuss future environmentally friendly development. From that conference an action agenda was revealed for an innocuously sounding aim of ''Sustainable Development''. That agenda was known as Agenda 21 and not as innocuous as it sounded.

Agenda 21 was promoted as a non-binding and voluntarily implemented action plan, and so the lie began. It was also called the brainchild of a group of powerful elitists known as the Club of Rome. Their aim was world domination brought about using the United Nations and its agencies to create a World Government together with a World Bank and a Security Force to ensure implementation of its aims.

Agenda 31: First, castrate all the Conservatives

Hatched in the social laboratories and classrooms of our tax-funded learning institutions comes the new Politically Correct, Agenda 31—the neutering of common sense.

The fungoid do-gooders have re-branded as Correctionalists and their mission is to neuter the minds of sane people—social conformity. Last week the Labor inspired Agenda 31 had its trial run.

Opposition Leader Tony Abbott attributed the Coalition candidate Fiona Scott with “feistiness” and “sex appeal.” Although the nation is poised to decide what may be the most important federal election in a generation, the Correctioalist choristers crowed in high “C”, “Henny Penny the sky is falling.”

Leading that barnyard charge of cloned battery birds was a brain-dead editor at Fairfax who herded writers like Jonathan Swan and Judith Ireland like Christmas chooks to the chopping block. With fingers removed from their readership pulse it’s no wonder Fairfax newspapers are failing with corporate shares at a shameful 55 cents. People have wearied of uniform bias pushed by boring, socialist dunderheads.

It started slow and easy. I remember, for example,  when “black” and “negro” were just words, no more and no less, that designated skin colour and had no other meanings. These words cannot now be uttered. "Afro-American" and, in the Australian context, "Indigenous Australian", are the terms everyone must use if not to be accused of racism, xenophobia and the like.
