A campaign speech and foreword from Clinton Mead:
I’m running in the NSW election for the electorate of Wollondilly as an Outdoor Recreation Party candidate. At a recent debate hosted by Wollondilly Council, I was given time to give a two minute introductory speech. The debate was around an “issues paper”, which basically was a list of projects the local council wanted state funding for. The major party candidates used most of their opening speech to talk about the bacon they were supposedly going to bring home for the electorate.

Do you care which socialist wins the next election? I don’t.
I don’t care whether its super taxes, or six figure baby bonuses. Neither do I care whether it’s an ETS, or a green army. The reality is that neither leader will commit to any meaningful real cuts to the size and scope of government.
No matter who wins later this year, we will continue the march towards increasing bureaucratic control and socialisation of our lives from Canberra.

Lets have a look at Labor's internet filtering policy. They propose the following:
1) A blacklist of child pornography is created, funded by the taxpayer.
2) This black list is distributed to the over 200 ISP's in the country to filter.
Each of these ISP's will have to set up their own filtering scheme depending on the technologies they use and the structure and size of their particular network. So lets on average twenty employees per ISP are involved in setting up and maintaining the filtering list and associated software.
