Coles toilet paper double length 3 ply white 4pack $4.34 or $1.09 per roll.
And unlike Al Gore's "book" the toilet paper is actually quite useful.

In an emergency you could use the pages of Al Gore's book for the same purpose as the dunny paper, Andy.
Reading it would soon cause the emergency.

Is that the "backbencher's" book, The Conservative Revolution, on the cut price table too?
Posted by: Arthur Dent | January 6, 2014 at 07:33 PM
Happy new year Arthur and i hope you enjoyed the celebration of the birth of Christ
Yes- the "backbecher's" book has created quite a stir with all the lefties
really all he needed was a photo of an aborted child
the biggest enemy of abortion is a photo
As a uni student when gore's docudrama came out i still remember being puzzled by his claim about the ice on Greenland slipping off into the ocean- what a classic

so you are now promoting Cory's book, PK?
Naturally if some leftard wrote a book and in a chapter wrote about why Gay marriages should now overtake heterosexual marriages as preferred “lifestyle” choice they'd be applauded???

I'm sure that a colour piccy of fat al gore would be just the thing most of us would enjoy deploying after a satisfying expulsion of bacterial waste. Wiping one load of bacterial waste with a picture of another is an effective way of staying clean for less than the price of a roll of used Age newspapers.

Thankyou oldskool, and a happy new year to you too.
Yes, I toasted the miracle of parthenogenesis, and ate way too many prawns. I could paraphrase Scottish philosopher David Hume, but.........okay, why not.
Which is more likely, that the whole natural order was suspended, or a Jewish minx told a lie? hmmmm.
Yes- the "backbecher's" book has created quite a stir with all the lefties
I think it caused a bit of a stir in the broad church too - Tony pretty much shut the debate down before it started.
I don't think there are many Australians who want to revisit the abortion debate.....again.
Anyway, all the best for 2014 oldskool.

You really are an "expert" in everything, aren't you, Artie.
Your continual demonstrations of your superior, Leftist (sorry Libertarian), intellect is certainly becoming very tiresome.
Just because Leftists, like yourself, want to shut down debate on any opinion that is contrary to the Socialist creed will never make it so.
Your predictable comments show that you are as narrow-minded as your fellow, biased, trolls that infest any forum that has the audacity to disagree with their all-knowing, superiority complex.

No.
It is the "Witticisms of Arthur Dent"
Posted by: Peter Simmons | January 7, 2014 at 04:58 PM
Peter, it was Tony Abbott who shut the debate down. I'm all for free speech - go for it, mate.
Cory wants controversial topics out there in the public discourse - good on him.
Unfortunately, no one seems to be listening.
Remember, this is a man who abhors halal meat, but is quite okay with eating ( through the miracle of transubstantiation) human meat.

Always got to have the Catholic Dig don't you Arthur?
What speech did Abbott shut down by the way?
All he did was quote the party line.
Love the way you twist every conversation to suit your blinkered views.
Posted by: Peter Simmons | January 8, 2014 at 05:40 PM
Tony Abbott did what could to neutralize debate within the Party. You reckon the rest of the party members read the subtext?
Anyway, it was all over in two days. Probably generated a few extra book sales for Cory - good luck to him.
Re "Catholic dig"-you don't see the irony?
Posted by: Arthur Dent | January 8, 2014 at 06:25 PM
There is no irony in your continual anti-Catholic rants, Artie.
As I have said before, you don't have the guts to attack Islam in the same manner you attack Christians, especially Catholics.
As I said in reply to your first reply on this topic -the only book at a lower price than Gore's is your witticisms.
Dave Allen was better at the anti-Catholic jokes than you are, Arthur.
Like most things you comment on, you are an amateur in a world of professionals

Pardon? You must have missed the posts where I referred to the Prophet (the Islamic one) as a deluded epileptic.
Flying "donkeys"?....er, yeah, sure....whatever you say.
And this, in my opinion, is the root of the problem. The allowances we make for Faith, and the respect we give to belief without any evidence, allows Islam to get its foot in the door (apologies to Jehovah's Witnesses). The Moderates give cover to the extremists.
Re Dave Allen. I wasn't trying to compete with his humour. I was just pointing out Cory's inconsistencies. Doesn't he eat Jesus' body most Sundays? Why is even referring to transubstantiation, considered "having a dig"?
Now there's an example of the "kooky" being accepted as main stream. For instance, if I said to you I say a few Latin words over my coco pops and milk of a morning, and it turns it into the body and blood of Elvis, what would you think?
QED.

I would believe this is what you actually think

Sorry Andy, but some threads do go off on tangents.
The majority of articles these last few weeks have all been about one topic.
It does seem strange that the aforementioned author didn't get a mention here when he was getting airplay earlier in the week. Could have sold a few books for him.
Posted by: Arthur Dent | January 9, 2014 at 07:53 PM
You are the one who changed an article about Gore's book into another attack on religion, Arthur.
You cannot help yourself changing every topic to suit yourself.
You then comment on "some threads do go off on tangents".
Typical Left hypocrisy.
