Mr Palmer says he has received confirmation of a 768-vote discrepancy between lower and upper house ballot papers at the Coolum booth.
''What a farce,'' Mr Palmer said in a statement.

With the systemically traitorous Labor potty and its psychopathologically-self-and-own-species-loathing Red "greens" claque clowns effectively owning, operating and controlling Australia's elections machinery and the rolls and its having recently imported Obama's fresh-from-stealing the 2012 American "presidential" election gang? Be more surprising if the election wasn't rigged.
Witness, also, that 1000 conveniently anti-The-Honorable-Sophie-Mirabella, MHR "votes" were mysteriously located from under the Tooth Fairy pillow during the Indi "count."

Something is definitely wrong in the seat of Indie. I was a scrutineer for the LNP in my small town, and I can tell you right now, no voting box just conveniently gets misplaced. The officials and the scrutineers cross check (together) all boxes to make sure they have not been tampered with, and that all votes are counted and checked. All invalid votes are put to one side and checked thoroughly by the scrutineers from both parties. Then if the tally doesn't add up the votes are then re-counted. We had one green vote missing and we found that vote in the Senate box. Some idiot put it in the wrong box. All postal votes are counted and sealed by officials. After the counting is completed and checked the scrutineers ring through with the overall tally. So for a thousand votes (all in favor of a certain candidate) to conveniently turn up after three days tells me there is something fishy going on.

More to the point Brian ...
How did 2,000 votes for Cathy McGowan get put into a package that was then labelled as 1,000 votes?
Three cheers for the AEC official who cross-checked against the number of Senate votes cast and picked up the discrepancy.
Conspiracy, human error? Who knows?
Looks like Sophie bye-bye in Indi.
Same as Diaz, Jaymes down-in-flames.

I like Diaz - he has a great sense of humor and doesn't mind taking the mickey out of himself. With prudent coaching he would make a great candidate for the LNP. I am actually hoping that Abbott's team does something with this young fellow. Even if it takes another three years for him to run again, he should be nurtured and encouraged to make another try.
