Gillard and Labor knew all along that they were in an alliance with destructive socialists, but nevertheless implemented the Greens' agenda, writes Robert Katsambis.
Over the weekend we heard NSW Labor secretary Sam Dastyari declare that the Greens are a party of “extremists not unlike One Nation” and that they should not be treated as though they are part of the Labor ‘family’.
We then watched Joel Fitzgibbon describe the Greens’ policies as “loopy” and “economically destructive”.
Greg Combet attempted to differentiate Labor from its alliance partner, insisting that “we have different values and different policies, and we certainly distinguish from [the Greens]”.
Paul Howes didn’t hold back either, contending that the Greens “hold values that are fundamentally opposed to the values of the Australian Labor Party”. Kim Carr also entered the debate, calling the Greens “smug and self-righteous”.
Given these comments, I have one question for Labor: If you believe that the Greens are a smug, self-righteous group of extremists that support loopy, economically destructive policies which are wholly repugnant to Labor values and you openly admit this in the public forum, why then have you given them everything they want?
These economically destructive policies are the same policies the Greens have been championing for years, and the likes of Adam Bandt, Lee Rhianon and Sarah Hanson-Young are known to possess socialist traits. It is therefore not a surprise that the Greens are a clique of radical Marxists, and Labor has known this the whole time.
But Labor only started to really expose this last weekend. That is, after they had given the Greens their carbon tax, after they gave the Greens a mining tax catering to their demands as well as a temporary ban on live exports and $10 billion to fund inefficient Green technologies which private markets disapprove of. The list is seemingly endless.
No wonder the Greens won’t compromise on offshore processing. They already have everything they ever wanted. There is no need for them to compromise.
Labor has given the Greens everything they have demanded, and it is only now that they come out and chastise them. This just goes to show that this government is not driven by supposed Labor values or giving Australians a fair go. It knows it will be annihilated at the next election and needs to hold on to power to see out its term.
But what’s more shocking is the fact that this assault is not coming from the Prime Minister. Just as she has been bowing down to Bob Brown and the Greens since she formed a minority government through the sheer fear that they will end her political career, she is running scared. She is scared that making some kind of landmark oration to condemn the Greens and expose them for the power hungry extremists they are will only speed up her inevitable political death.
Australia needs a strong leader to make a philosophical point that in turn draws great attention to the fact that the Greens’ policies are driving the nation’s economy into the ground and are hurting families at the hip pocket. Julia Gillard is not capable of doing this due to the undoubtable assertion that she is only worried about keeping her position.
She has not yet made any bold, moral statement to discredit the Greens as radical socialists clad in green robes, void of traditional Australian values.
She needs to make a stand against the Greens, as John Howard made a stand against Pauline Hanson and One Nation.
Her absence and fear of this debate confirms that we have a weak Prime Minister, who despite lying to the Australian people in order to win over the Greens, can’t get them to support her border protection legislation.

when One nation claimed the extreme right, The Liberal party shot them down
When The Greens came to claim the extreme left, Labor flirted and panderded until they are now encroaching on the center of the Labor party
Labor have given these Communist lunatic credibility through their pandering and now they are a threat to the Labor party through their own mismanagement

OK, so now Labot hates their f***buddies. (Apologies for my language) What's changed? Nothing. Still we're paying a ludicrous tax on Carbon Dioxide. Illegal immigrants are still invading our country. Freedom of speech is still threatened. Labor's pretentious 'war' on the Greens is all bollocks and BS.
God help us in repairing our nation once we euthanise this toxic tossers.

Gillard signed the agreement with Bob Brown, both smiling broadly at each other The one wanted power to stay in the Lodge, the other knew that he had Labor by the tail by joining with them. Gillard knows that only with the loopy Greens behind her, she will be OUT. And the Greens know that if she is ousted, they will be out of luck with their extreme agenda which will bring Australia to its knees, if it is not already there. I repeat what Abraham said "God help our nation once we euthanise this toxic tossers". Get rid of Gilard too, the worst PM in the history of Austraia.

The term 'leftofascist' best describes the Greens. I will not forgive their boycott of Jewish businesses in this country, nor ever forget it. And I won't forgive their support to the forces that would destroy the only democracy in the Middle East, followed by the rest of the western world.
Leftofascists. And deeply evil.
But our government sleeps with the devil.
