Paul Knight’s latest “project” is called Proposition - he wants to film two strangers having sex. He is spending a month in London on this project on an Australia Council residency.
Menzies House is the leading online Australian community for conservative, centre-right and libertarian thinkers.
What next? a stranger having sex with a horse in times square?
Ha ha ha ,, humans have lost the plot .
But if you want to have fun and get paid for it , just come to Australia.
The people here are happy to oblige... ha ha ha ,,

WTF!

Is that a pun?

Those who want to fund prostitution, pornography, homosexuality deal with men as instinctively lustful animal and the only thing that preoccupies their minds is sex. As if men do not have social commitments and responsibilities. When people fail to live up to social expectations, they resort to the illusions to conceal reality.

More taxpayer funds for the "Arts".
Does anybody on the "left" ever grow out of puberty?
Posted by: Anton | April 2, 2012 at 09:03 PM
Anton, the real question is: when will your puberty start?
Just because the ABC is involved then this, according to you and idiots like you, is a "left" supported project. It's a conclusion that only an intellectual infant can reach.
Why do you always speak with the orifice that everybody uses to expel waste??

Dante-name five ABC commentators/opinion writers from the "right". Your inability to come up with 5 legitimate names is proof enough the ABC is of the left. It's only pre-pubescent morons like you who don't get it.
The left is the arty farty crowd-perhaps if you ever left school or held a position in life not funded by taxpayers you would understand that.

Duh?
BTW, what lead you to Anton, the real question is: when will your puberty start?
because it sounds a lot like an argument my kids would use when they were about 13 years old.
Finally, do you consider this "art" worthy of taxpayer (not government) funding?
Posted by: Anton | April 3, 2012 at 03:24 PM
our country is attempting to homosexualise our kids and funding perverts- the left have gone too far

Can do Newman has just dropped the 244K "premiers" literature prize. That would have been a money for those in the know prize. Imagine how many tens of millions Abbott can cut from that ridiculous group (The Arts) not too mention the foreign aid bill (how come these refugee activists dont worry about our own homeless) and what about the HECS rort. If not get rid of it at least only pay it to those going to uni to study for a real job (not some arts degree like swanny boy).Newman will be premier for years and years.

I have been pleasantly suprised by Newman, after his legacy of unused tunnels and bicycles in Brisbane. Dropping the literature award rort is another win for long suffering taxpayers.
It looks like it is better to have an engineer than a union lawyer as Premier.

Seems to work pretty well for China too.

Much Much better,, the man has a trait not found anywhere on the left....
It's called ...."COMMON SENSE"
Remember those words? they applied when the country was running well!!!!
Posted by: barry | April 4, 2012 at 12:08 PM
The problem with common sense bazza is how uncommon it is-especially on the left side of the spectrum.Just look at the incoherent fact free dribble from the useful idiots that occassionally pop over from the Drum etc.

Boundaries and tastes are pushed in art. If not we don't explore and learn.
If you can't understand these concepts I pity you.
Posted by: SignedIn | April 4, 2012 at 09:34 PM
Furthermore why can't art examine and represent in its totality the experience of sex?
Why should art deny this pivotal part of our existence?
As for Soraya - I think sex is great. Where would you be without it?

There is nothing wrong with artists exploring sex, or anything else they like, as long as they fund it themselves or find an interested sponsor. The problem is that taxpayers (not the government) have been forced to pay for it.
Once again you missed the point

Is this some arcane artistic portrayal of what the gillard government is doing to Australians?
