No thanks...
The current day inventor of mean and tricky.
Be careful of what you hope for.
I think we might all ponder on what a great bloke Gary John's appears to be and he even batted for the other side. Well, he might have been okay if he had not made that deluded decision. Lets say he's on a journey to maturation?
Anti-human Greens won't usurp Labor
Gary Johns
From: The Australian July 07, 2011 12:00AM
>>>The Greens, by contrast,*(with the ALP)* will never defend humanity against nature. Brown regards humans as tellurians, inhabitants of the earth, along with plants and animals. The Greens care little for our most important gift, our intelligence, or for our most important human achievements, such as our families and our nations. On these grounds, the Greens can never be a mainstream party.
Picture Brown's address to (his recently mooted) United Nations of all People. "Tellurians of the world unite!" He gets no further because a Chinese guard drags him off stage as a dangerous environmentalist and gay activist.
Bob, in the parliament of the world, China has the numbers.
>>>Theirs is an undergraduate debate about "guns or butter".

I think Howard has been happy to stay out of the spotlight since his retirement. This is contrast to Hawke and Keating who are still under the belief people actually care what they think.

Given the current rabble I often find myself wishing for another round of environmental pact refusing, non-apologizing, wharfie-baiting Howardism. But the man himself is partly to blame by not realizing when everyone had had enough of him and not grooming a proper successor. Ten years is the maximum for leaders these days, Menzies was a special case, and anyone who thinks they can stay loved for longer than that is mistaken.

unfortunately the sleepy heads out there havent a clue on whats going on...so not enough people are aware that they should miss someone who at least had a modicum of common sense! They see Julia as a joke, carbon tax is a worry ....but it'll "all be right mate..We could never be so controlled in australia" wait and see the current government and its cohorts are sending us broke!!

Please no more pix of "Jackboot Johnny". He took away the guns of law abiding citizens and left the crims with theirs. In the process, diverted more than $billion to gun crushing, gun registries and excessive paperwork; taxpayers' money which should have been directed to improvements in mental health, the real problem associated with multiple gun murders. Seeing Howard with drink in hands still reminds me that he was drunk with power.

Not a chance!
"Leaky Boats" tonight was a condemnation of Howard.

Howard lied and deceived the Australian nation, manipulated the armed forces, and ran to the election fully aware of Reith's lies. Shall we remember him for any thing else? Siev IV was a disgrace, is a disgrace and shall forever be a disgrace. Disgraceful man, why dig him up.

Silly Silly people. Did you forget that John Howard went to the 2007 election with the committment of introducing an "Emmisions Trading Scheme"? If Liberal had won the Election we would have an an Emmisions Trading Scheme. SO ask yourself this question
"How's that change you didn't want working out for you?"

I often wonder why Bob doesn't live in a cave!!
Surely a house must be everything against what he "stands" for !!!!!!!!

Bag Howard for all you like ,, but if you think the present day mob is the solution,, stick with them , and I'm sure in a few years time you'll be delighted with the results.
