Despite flying to every nation on the plant besides Indonesia and Malaysia, and doling out wads of cash Kevin Rudd couldn’t land a seat at the 2011 Bilderberg Conference.

Andy,
There is one ex Australian attending, Wolfensohn, James D., Chairman, Wolfensohn & Company, LLC
What about Rupert, now he owns the Wall Street Journal?
Perhaps, Kevin Rudd is just dismissing the Bilderbergs as just another conspiracy theory until he makes it. If ever.
They are unlikely to want such publicity seeking individuals attending?

Were the Ruddster to attend, he'd probably stand up at the opening session and announce a proposal reorganization of the Bilderberg Group with Australia at its head that he'd written all by himself at 3am the previous Sunday morning, without prior consultation with any other member of the group. To which the other participants would respond by saying "Who's that guy?"

Surely you mean they would respond by saying
"Who's that git?"

"Security...Get this man outta here!"
That's what I think someone at the Bilderberg conference would say...
